Debra passed away at the age of 67 years of age. In Sacramento CA. She resided in pioneer CA was a resident for 25 years in Amador County. She was born in Sacramento California. She worked for The County of Amador until she retired.

Debra enters in to rest with along with her late husband Johnnie William Gedgate; granddaughter, who just passed away 5 ½ months ago, Julie Ann Villescaz Hardin; father, Jackie Hombrebueno Aguinir; mother, Leona Marie Veenker; brother, Richard Michael Padilla; stepfather, Leo Padilla; stepbrothers, Gary and Ross Padilla; and Grandparents Ray and Fern Ascuncion

She is survived by her 5 daughters, Therasa Karratti, Jamie Spore, Jacklyn Patrick, Faliciana Gedgate, and Naticia Gedgate; son-in-law, Karl Karratti; 11 grandchildren, Johnny, Jazz, Jackie, Joseph, Lowell, Jasmine, Timothy, Tyler Annie, Travis, and Kevin; 8 great grandchildren, Elijah, Ezra, Steven, Tristan, Ayden, Korben, Remedee, and Amiah;
Sisters, Bernadette Carmona, Tina Yandell; brother, Kenneth Higgins II; and sister-in-law, Kimberly Ramos and many cousins, nephews, and nieces.

She was called “Grandma” by many in Amador County and loved by everybody. She helped several people. Raised her grandchildren and took many children to raise. She would help anyone in need if she could. She was a soldier and cared about all things and others. She would give the shirt off her back if she had too. Her words of wisdom and encouragement always made sense and gave people hope. And always looked for the good in people.

She fought her illness for years and always said she was going to live forever. She suffered a heart attack and strokes and had heart surgery and survived. Her body was tired she had severe health issues and suffered a lot of pain in the end. Now she is not suffering anymore, and she is truly going to live forever in Heaven. Where she can rest peacefully.
