I attended grade school (Harding Elementary) through high school (El Cerrito High) with Debbie. She was an awesome competitor in any kind of athletics and outstanding in art. Our elementary class was extremely close and most of us left the area after graduation and lost track of each other. Another classmate, Cherris (Johns) Walton contacted me to tell me of Debbie's passing. I extend my heartfelt condolences to all who were among her family members and close friends as she was a wonderful person in her youth and very loving towards all of her siblings. She will be missed especially since we will have our 50th anniversary from graduating from ECHS and I know she will be missed terribly by her loving family. May you all feel comforted by these words of compassion.

We grew up together in the same neighborhood. Gregg and are in the same graduating class and all through school. For many years I received a Christmas card from Debbie. And we talked over the last 50 years. She is a sweetheart. My prayers for her family will be said.

I am sad to hear about Debbie's passing. She was a great person and we shared many laughs when we worked together. Although it had been awhile since the last time we bumped into one another and had a chance to say hello I will always consider her my friend and cherish the fond memories I have. My heart goes out to you Mark and Peter for your loss. She was a great lady.

I first met Debbie in Sunday School, and knew her through Portola Jr High and El Cerrito High School. I always remember her as cheerful and fun-loving. My condolences to Mark and their daughter.

On behalf of the El Cerrito High School Class of '73, please accept our condolences over this sad news. I first met Deb after moving to El Cerrito where we were in the same 5th grade class, then together through graduating from ECHS. This is sad news which I will pass along to her former school mates. She was a kind soul and had many friends. She will be missed. Dale Myer ECHS Class of '73
