Joey was one of my lifelong best friends. I have countless memories of his laugh, smile, and uplifting spirit. He was always willing to offer support or a kind word when someone was in need. He encouraged me to finish my Phd when I would get frustrated and consider quitting and he visited me in Colorado when I missed home. I was crushed to learn of his death and am incredibly sorry for your loss. I have some wonderful photos of Joe - from our trip to the Grand Canyon together and others - that I would be happy to share ( sheena916@yahoo.com 916-798-0615). Please feel free to reach out if there is anything I can do, and with any details about the service. My love and prayers are with you - Sheena Murray

My condolences go out to Joey's family. I know he loved them very much. Know that he will be missed by all that he came in contact with. He was a great friend and co worker. We worked together for ten years at Western Air Mechanical. I saw Joey grow into a great hvac technician and friend. He was always there to help his friends and family whenever he could. May he rest in peace. Sincerely, John Center

Joe and I have known each other since 2nd grade at community Christian school. But it wasn't till the past few years that we became close friends. He was continually forgiving , brutally honest, forever uplifting, and laughter was the best medicine. He was a hard working man who used his skills to help others . His family always at the top of the list. He was adventurous and fearless in my eyes and I will miss him terribly. My heart and prayers for strength and peace of heart goes out to you, his family, not just in this current moment of great loss... but everyday till you see him again. I am grateful for our friendship we shared , so if I can be of assistance in any way ...I'd be honored to help. Julie Treadwell (209) 419- 3245
