My wife Elisa and I have known Pat for about 30 years. We were very saddened to hear about his passing. Pat was always cheerful and willing to help others in any way he could. He was a pleasure to be around. His love of card games, especially Shanghai, was palpable and evident as he tried to finalize every play in Shanghai. We referred to him as the Shanghai Master. Another one of Pat's qualities was his love for people and sweet spirit and compassion for others. He has left a special mark on our hearts.
