Obituary of Joshua Lee Parker

Joshua Lee Parker passed away Monday, December 12, 2022, in Jackson, CA at the age of 50 years old. He was born in Watsonville, CA on April 1, 1972, a son of Janet Lynn (White) and Brian Lee Head. Joshua is survived by his children, Ashlee Parker, and Caleb Parker; mother, Janet Strobel; and a sister, Summer Ostrander. He graduated from Independence High School in 1990 and worked as a driver for Common Ground Senior Center - Meals on Wheels and a handy man on and off working on landscaping but his most recent position was working at the Martell Recycling for 4 years. Joshua enjoyed panning for gold, collecting rocks and spending time outdoors in the mountains. He had a great sense of humor and storyteller. He was a big Pittsburg Steelers fan. At the family's request there will be no services. Contributions can be made in Joshua's name to Sierra Wind Wellness and Recovery at 10354 Argonaut Lane, Jackson, CA 95642.
