I am so very saddened to hear of Kitty's passing. She was a carpool buddy of mine when we both worked in Stockton for DJJ. She was truly the most generous, kind and caring person. We had so many good talks during our commute to and from work. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.

Kitty was my classmate at Metairie Park Country Day School. I will miss her kind demeanor and have gained even more respect and admiration for her after reading this obituary. She led an exemplary life. RIP Kitty.

I first knew Kitty as a carpool mate, then as a neighbor, then as a friend. She was concerned with the foods we eat and with the well being of all dogs. She was positive and always left me feeling good about myself as she would give me a compliment. I will miss my friend Kitty.

Kitty worked with the Amador County Library for several years bringing joy to children through her therapy dog Grommit and her caring gentle ways of engaging children through reading. Kitty and Grommit will be greatly missed. Laura E.

Kitty. She was well-loved at the Amador County Library, a volunteer there for many years along with Grommit. The two of them enchanted us with stories and costumes and their love. They will be missed and remembered by many.

Dr Haspel you were one of the first Doctors I met at DJJ that welcomed me. You were a beautiful person inside and outside. You were always so open and kind. I will miss our long talks we had throughout the years and after we both left the prison. I wish Brenda, you and I could have gone out to dinner one more time to laugh and talk. It still doesn't seem real you are gone. I was so saddened when I learned of your passing. You will be truly missed. Dr. Gena Clark-McKnight
