Obituary of JoAnne Marie Nolan

JoAnne Marie Nolan passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2022 in Jackson, CA at the age of 69 years old. She was born in Palo Alto, CA, on May 21, 1953, a daughter of the late Grace Marie (Matthias) and William John Nolan, step daughter to William "Mr. Bill" Lloyd. JoAnne is survived by three sisters, Barbara Nolan of Lower Lake, CA, Jean Nolan of Elk Grove, CA, and Lorna Alexander, wife of Kevin McElveny of Ione, CA; two brothers, Robert Nolan of Elk Grove, CA, and James Nolan of San Jose, CA; a stepsister, Geri Salzig of Guffy, CO. She is also survived by nephew Michael Alexander, husband of Tiffany Alexander of Modesto; niece Samantha Bryson, wife of Andrew Bryson of San Francisco; nephew Joseph Nolan of Lodi; great nieces and nephews, Nathaniel Nolan, Zellie Alexander, and Wade Alexander. She is preceded in death by her brother, William John Nolan Jr. Last, but not least, she leaves behind her dear friend, Gerald Taylor. JoAnne was an amazing big sister and wonderful aunt, always happy to bring family together for fun times. She loved opening her beautiful home to all that wanted to join in for the holidays. JoAnne made sure everyone felt included; even the dogs! A graveside service will be held at Volcano Catholic Cemetery in Volcano, CA on November 12th.
