Obituary of Patrick Michael Tallon, Sr.

Patrick Michael Tallon Sr. went home to his Lord on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 in Jackson, CA at the age of 83 years old. He was born in Sacramento, CA on November 19, 1938, the son of the late Grace Irene (Giusto) and Harold Vincent Tallon. Patrick is survived by his wife of 58 years, Helen Tallon of Jackson, CA; daughter, Christine (Eric) Anderson, of Pine Grove, CA; two sons Grant (Lisa Chavez) Tallon of Jackson, CA, and Michael (Pamela) Tallon of Hayward, CA. He is also survived by grandchildren, Michael, Samantha, Brianna, Ryan, Jacob, Nicholas, Sean, and Veronica. As well as 5 great grandchildren. Patrick is preceded in death by his son, Patrick Jr. in 2013 and his grandson, Chad. For about 10 years Patrick worked for Aerojet in Sacramento. Upon leaving there he took a job with Spinetti's Bike shop selling motorcycles. After that business closed, he then took a job with Bennett Auto Parts. During that time, he was a volunteer fireman for the fire department. He assumed the position of Fire Chief for the City of Jackson in 1971, retiring after 25 years as Fire Chief. He continued in auto parts sales to keep busy. He was a member of Jackson Lions Breakfast club, motorcycle club GWTA and SIRS. He enjoyed rebuilding his 57 chevy from the ground up, traveling, motorcycle riding and boating. A memorial service will be held 11:30 AM on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Community Christian Church in Pine Grove, CA. Memorial contributions may be made in Patrick's name to STARS at P.O.
