Obituary of Ruby Charline Buckley

Ruby Charline Buckley passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022 in Sutter Creek, CA at the age of 77 years old. She was born in Berkeley, CA on February 27, 1945, a daughter of the late Ruby Everine (Kaylor) and Charlie Andrew Moore. Ruby is survived by her husband of 52 years Harold Buckley, Jr. of Sutter Creek, CA; son, Harold "Lee" Buckley III of Buena Vista, CA. Ruby is also survived by two brothers, Charlie (Paulette) Moore Jr. of Sutter Creek, CA, and David (Laurie) Moore of Sacramento, CA. As well as a grandchild, Kyle and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Valerie in 2021. Ruby served as the grand president of the Native Daughters of the Golden West, as well as being a long-time member and president of the American Legion Post 108 and passionately volunteered many years at the Jackson City Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00p.m. on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at American Legion Post 108 in Sutter Creek, CA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ruby's name to Amador County Foundation Animal Shelter at P.O. Box 1154 Jackson, CA 95642.
