Obituary of Janice Ann Anderson

Janice (Jan) Ann Anderson passed away Saturday, July 16, 2022 in Pioneer, CA at the age of 84 years old. She was born in Livermore, CA on November 11, 1937, a daughter of the late Ruby Lee (James) and Oswald Sigurd Hansen. Her first love and priority were always to her husband and family. She enjoyed traveling with her husband with their 5th wheel trailer. The grandkids often accompanied them on their many excursions. She loved bowling and was league secretary for many years. She enjoyed gardening and her plants and worked for Pine Grove Nursery in the 70's and 80's picking out and delivering plants from wholesalers in the valley. She was a resident of Pioneer for 50 years and looked forward to luncheons with the long timer's club. Janice is survived by her daughter, Karen and her husband, Frankie Valvo of Ledger, MT; her son, Anthony "Tony" Anderson of Vernon, AZ; As well as grandchildren, Tricia Anderson of Sonoma, Toni Lynn Anderson of San Diego, Thomas (Brittany) Anderson of Rancho Santa Margarita, Jennifer Patchen of Seeley Lake, MT, Joseph (Cindy) Valvo of NC; great grandchildren, Noah, and David. She is preceded in death by her husband, Oroville (Andy), and her daughter in law, Pam. A Graveside Service will be held 10:00a.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Amador Memorial Cemetery in Pioneer, CA.
