Obituary of John Evasuik

John Evasuik, born March 3, 1960 in Fort Ord, CA and died July 1, 2022 in Ione, CA. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Gerda Evasuik. John moved to Ione from San Jose in the early 1970s. He graduated from Ione High in 1978 and worked at Interpace and Terra Tile for many years. John (a.k.a. Johny) spent his days in downtown Ione. He is survived by his son John LaBella and daughter Donell Telles and their families; sister Jutta Powers-Davenport and her husband Mark Davenport; and nephews Shawn and Michael Powers and their families. Thank you to the town of Ione for your love, support and acceptance. The funeral will be on Saturday August 13, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. on the lawn of the Ione Public Cemetery.
