Hugs and prayers go out to her family and friends. She has left so many treasured memories with everyone that she knew. I enjoyed all of the district attorney's employee get-togethers and barbecues. Lots of fun times! She will be missed!

I will miss her. She was a very fun, happy go lucky, and loved to be a little mischievous! I spent a lot of week-ends with David & her when I was 15 & 16. Joanne could be a prim and proper lady when necessary, prankster, and a hippie. But I liked it best when she was just my big sister I could talk to, she gave me tips about life, growing up, boys, and just being yourself. She caring, and a very bright light in life and always made you in a better mood. After talking with her. I will miss her smile, her joyful laugh, and just being the best older sister ever!

I am so sorry to hear about Joanne's passing. She was my boss at Preston. My first day there she was taking me around and I was running into a lot of people I had known when I worked at the CYA Academy. She laughed and joked and said she's never met anybody who already knew half of Preston on their first day. Come to find out we both graduated from El Camino High School and she was good friends w/my neighbors who were in her class. I am younger than her but we seemed to know the same people. She was always so kind and helpful to me. After we both retired I would see her once in a while around Ione and it was always like we had just seen each other a couple days before. I will miss you sweet Joanne!

My condolences go to her loving family. They could have no idea how much she loved them. She was the kindest, sweetest, most generous person I've ever known. Beautiful in every way. She thrived on her political activities. She reveled in social contributions and serving her community. Whether it was pinochle with Kay and Leon in Ione or 31 with Ralph and Joann in Bullhead City, she was all in. Being a part of her life was a blessing. Everyone who knew her will remember her and miss her. God has a new angel heaven.
