Obituary of William Charles Clark

William Charles Clark passed away Monday, May 30, 2022 in Jackson, CA at the age of 83 years old. He was born in French Camp, CA on November 20, 1938, a son of the late Dorothy Mae (Poland) and Arthur Mack Clark. Willy is survived by his daughter, Kim Clark, of Ione, CA; two sons Kraig (Louise-Claire) Clark of Fair Oaks, CA, and Kenny (Franci) Clark of Escalon, CA; sister, Vickie Brooks Brown; as well as 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. William is preceded in death by his wife, Hallie; brothers, Arthur, and Jimmy; sisters, Carolyn, Evelyn and Dora. Willy enjoyed art at a young age which continued through his lifetime and was inspired by his older sister Carolyn. He experimented with several techniques throughout the years including pencil sketch, oil painting, watercolor painting, charcoal drawing, pencil color drawing, acrylic painting and others. He also did a lot of pin-striping of cars for friends which was all done by hand. Pin-striping was a by-product of his stock car racing days back in the 60's and 70's as he painted his own cars as well as those of his racing friends. He joined the Air Force and became a jet engine mechanic so wrenching on vehicles became a hobby he enjoyed. Willy and Hallie also enjoyed long drives to the many enjoyable places California has to offer. They both are now together for eternity and will be missed by family, friends, and everyone who knew them.
