Obituary of Catherine L Vick

Catherine L. Vick passed away Sunday May 1, 2022 in Sutter Creek, CA at the age of 74 years old. She was born in San Francisco, CA on August 24, 1947, a daughter of the late Kathleen Mary (Chapman) and James Gordon Kerr. Catherine is survived by three daughters, Shannon (Bryan) Tripp of Sutter Creek, CA, Adriane (Josh) Contreras of Tacoma, WA and Paige (Michael) Clapham of Barstow, CA; brother, James (Marian) Kerr, of Petaluma, CA. She is also survived by grandchildren, Amanda Swedo, Katie Swedo, Alexandria Peacock, Bailey Ross, James Richardson, Kathleen Lacy, Joe Sidvers, Robyn Moots, Rachael Holloway, Errol Richardson, Tommy Wolfenberger, Timothy Wolfenberger and Zoey Clapham; great grandchildren, Kayleb, Tristan, Allyiah, Damien, Seneca, Emrys, Eli, James, Seth, Owyn, Gavyn and Hudsyn. She is preceded in death by her son, Victor. Seeking to retire closer to family, Cathy moved to the serene foothills of Amador County where she retired from her post as operations manager from Pacific Bell after 25 years of employment. Cathy was a devoted mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother whose loving care continued until her last day with us. An intensely avid reader, Cathy also shared her love of books, gardening, cooking, and all things witchy with her large family. She will be dearly missed at holiday gatherings, and her signature laugh will remain in our hearts forever. A Graveside Service will be held 2:00p.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Jackson Catholic Cemetery in Jackson, CA.
