Obituary of Sally SanSom

Sally D. Sansom passed away Monday, June 7, 2010 at her home in Jackson at the age of 68 years. She was born August 30, 1941 to Wilson and Hazel (Reynolds) Burns in Arizona. She owned and operated Sally's Alley Nail Salon in Ione and then retired. Sally was a resident of Amador County for 25 years. She loved animals especially horses, was very artistic and enjoyed painting. Sally loved her family and friends and enjoyed attending social gatherings. She is survived by her children, Jeffrey Walker of Alabama, Connie Hinojosa of Texas, Scott Hardin of Stockton; sisters, Sue Reynolds of Jackson, Mary G. McPherson of Herald; brother, Wilson Burns, Jr. of Jackson; and 6 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her companion, Wayne Havens. Friends are invited to attend a celebration of life June 22 at 2:00 P.M. at the American Legion Hall, 12134 Airport Road, Sutter Creek, CA.
