Obituary of Cynthia Jeanne Curtin

Cynthia Jeanne Curtin passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023, in Jackson, CA at the age of 75 years old. She was born in Bellingham, WA on March 3, 1948, a daughter of the late Betty Jean (LaCasse) and Francis Andrew Curtin.

Cynthia devoted her life to God and taking care of others. She successfully rehabilitated over 100 children as a foster parent, preparing them for adoption. In 1989, she was one of six awarded the Shining Star award by the Children’s council for her outstanding contribution to the welfare of children for Amador County.

Cynthia is survived by children, Jamie Curtin, and Michael (Jerri Ann Roberts) Curtin; two brothers, Stephen Francis Curtin, and Kevin Joseph Curtin. As well as grandchildren, Wyatt Andrew Curtin, Annabelle Marie Curtin, Connor Curtin, and Isaiah.

A Memorial Mass will be held, Wednesday, April 12, 2023, 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Pines Church 26750 Tiger Creek Road, Pioneer, CA 95666.
