Obituary of Pamela Kay Baglia

It is with great sadness, the family of Pamela Kay Baglia, 75, of Ione, California, announces her passing on May 12, 2023, in Sacramento, California. She was born on February 24, 1947, in Stockton, California.

Pam was a server in her working life. With her smile, energy, attention to details and a genuine interest in her patrons, she left them with an experience to remember. But her heart was in the outdoors. Casting a line in the water, cooking over an open fire, panning for gold on the shores of many High Sierra streams and watching beautiful sunsets brought her peace. Her kindness, her laughter and her love of family and friends touched many lives and will long be remembered and cherished.

Pamela is survived by her sons, John Cowdell of Ione, California, Michael Baglia of Ione, California and Tim Bates of New Plymouth, Idaho; grandchildren, Shane Cowdell of Lodi, California, Shannon Jarrett of Lodi, California, Mariah Baglia of Casper, Wyoming, Adrianna, Baglia of Ione, California, Sarah Lords of Boise, Idaho, and Kolcie Pitts of Boise, Idaho; and 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother, Helen Aller of Vallejo, California; sisters, Sharon Hart of Ione, California, Betty Healey of Dow, Illinois; brother, Steven Calvert of Vallejo, California. Pamela was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Baglia; brother, Billy Wells;  sister, Beverly Haas; aunt, Mary (Bea) Souza and Step grandson Jake Jacoby. 

You will not see me, so you must have faith. I wait for the time when we can soar together again both aware of each other. Until then, live your life to its fullest and when you need me, just whisper my name in your heart…I will be there!
