Obituary of Sandra Lee Haggart

Sandra "Sandi" Lee Haggart, age 77, of Jackson, CA passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023 in Jackson, CA. Sandi was born in Oakland, CA on June 15, 1945, a daughter of the late Alma (Bauder) and Leo Hevern. Sandi was a resident of Jackson, CA for over 50 years. Sandi's kind soul shined by the way she always put her family and friends first. She did the same in her career. After graduating Delta College to become a LVN, she served the Amador County community for over 40 years in the nursing profession caring for others. Sandi was an avid lover of traveling, RV camping and enjoying the outdoors with her family. Over the years, Sandi spent many weekends at the track watching her two boys race dirt bikes and she was their biggest fan. In her retired years, she enjoyed watercolor and acrylic painting, spending time with her grandchildren and walking her beloved rescue dog Brandy throughout the town of Jackson. Sandi will always be remembered for her loving heart, kind personality and the smiles she brought to those around her. Sandi is survived by her loving partner of 25 years Robert Morgan of Jackson, CA; sons Tom Haggart and his wife Vickie of Jackson, CA, and Terry Haggart and his fiancée Nadia of Sacramento, CA; grandchildren Amber Melville of Valley Springs, CA and Tommy Haggart of Jackson, CA; great-grandchildren Manny Garcia and Alex Garcia; sisters Marilyn Betcher of Napa, CA and Pat Gramse of HI; and her forever fur baby Brandy. Sandi was preceded by her husband Tom in 1997. Family and Friends will be notified of a "Celebration of Life" to honor Sandi, which will take place at a future date.
