Obituary of Rodger Allen Steele

Rodger Allen Steele passed away Monday, February 13, 2023, in Pioneer, CA at the age of 63 years old. He was born in Yuba City, CA on September 24, 1959, a son of the late Margaret Mary (Lucero) and Fred James Steele. Rodger is survived by two daughters, Margaret, wife of Dan Noel Steele of Pioneer, CA and Ashley, wife of Eldridge Robinson Steele of Ione, CA; a son, Clarence, husband of Nicole Steele of Pioneer, CA; He is also survived by 2 brothers; 6 sisters; 14 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews. Rodger is preceded by brothers, Buckshot, Alvey; sisters, Roberta, Josephine, and Tammy. Family and Friends are invited visitation will be held 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 24, 2023, at Daneri Mortuary in Jackson, CA. A graveside service will take place on Saturday, February 25, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at the Keystone Cemetery at 15868 Indiana Ranch Rd. Dobbins, CA 95935 with a reception to follow at the Ponderosa Park and Community Center, 17103 Ponderosa Way, Brownsville, CA 95919.
