Obituary of Glenn D Green

Glenn D. Green passed away Sunday, March 27, 2011 in Sutter Creek at the age of 81 years. He was born June 4, 1929 to Glenn and Ava (Phillips) Green in Bradford, AR. Glenn was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He worked 31 years as a forklift mechanic for the Gerber Baby Food Company. Glen was a loving husband and step dad. Glenn was married to June Ahart Green for 38 years. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Gordon Wilson of Jackson; son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Anne Brockhoff of Oakland; granddaughter, Anya Wolin of Jackson; sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and James Ward; brother and sister-in-law, G L and Opal Green; sister-in-law, Christie Green; cousin, Cleo Grigsby all of AR; 11 nephews; 9 nieces; pets, Bubba and the puppy, Bree. He was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Green and sister, Doris Childers. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service Saturday, April 2, 2011, 1:00 P.M. at Daneri Mortuary Chapel in Jackson. Inurnment will be private.
