Obituary of Helen V. Leslie

Helen V. Leslie passed away Saturday, February 19, 2011 in Jackson at the age of 88 years. She was born March 28, 1922 to Frances and Hazel Richards in Blythe, CA. Helen married Donald H. Leslie on September 8, 1963. She was a member of the Native Daughters of the Golden West. She is survived by her daughter, Nikki Biven of Jackson; sons, Michael D. Backovich of Sutter Creek, Tom Backovich of Yreka, CA, and George Backovich of Jackson. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Frank J. Backovich and Donald H. Leslie. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service Saturday, February 26 at 2:00 P.M. at Calvary Chapel, 18400 Ridge Road in Pine Grove. Inurnment will be at Sunset View Cemetery in Jackson.
