Obituary of James "Jim" Ralph

James "Jim" Ralph passed away Friday, February 18, 2011 at Sutter Memorial Hospital in Sacramento at the age of 84 years. He was born September 20, 1926 to Kendrick and Olga (Smith) Ralph in New York, New York. His passions were gold mining on the Mokelumne River at Roaring Camp with his daughters and lifelong friends, and volunteering at the Interfaith Food Bank. Jim is survived by his wife, Therese Ralph; daughters, Judy Layne, Nanci Ralph; his step children Pat, John and Pete Sullivan, Eileen McCaffrey, their spouses and his nine grandchildren. They will all fondly remember the many games, gatherings and family holidays. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Donni Ralph in 1996. Friends are invited to attend a celebration of life Monday, February 28 from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the American Legion Hall Post 108, Sutter Hill, CA. Inurnment will be private.
