Obituary of Harriett Marie Jauch

Harriett Jauch passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2011 in Jackson at the age of 86 years. She was born January 12, 1925 to Carl and Gladys (Brown) Heuer in California. Harriett married Frank "Bud" Jauch on November 18, 1945 in Carson City, NV. In 1959 the couple moved to a small ranch in Plymouth to raise their family. Harriett worked hard at caring for her family and was very involved with her children's activities. Her children were in 4H showing animals and she was one of the founding members of the Jr. Livestock Auction. She loved her grandchildren dearly and will be greatly missed. Harriett also enjoyed sewing and quilting. She is survived by her sons, Richard Jauch and his wife, Nancy of Mokelumne Hill, Dave Jauch of Plymouth, Duane Jauch and his wife, Cathy of Plymouth, Dan Jauch of Sutter Creek; sister, Francis Hunt of Placerville; 9 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank William Jauch. Friends are invited to attend a celebration of life on Saturday, February 26, 2011, 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. at the home of Richard and Nancy Jauch, 8178 Church Street, Mokelumne Hill, CA 95245. Inurnment will be in the Plymouth Cemetery in Plymouth.
