Obituary of Patricia Nelson

Patricia Jean Nelson passed away Saturday, December 25, 2010 in Lodi at the age of 72 years. She was born December 7, 1938 to John and Evelyn (Bustin) Nickle in Oakland, California. Patricia married Roger Nelson on November 19, 1958 in Hayward. Patricia loved music, movies, books and good food. She loved the ocean and the changing of the seasons. She loved to dance, but first and foremost she loved her family. She is survived by her children John Alfred Nelson of Las Vegas, Jean Ellen Weiss and husband, Phil of Sutter Creek, Lawrence Eugene Nelson and wife, Blanca of Pleasant Hill; brother, Michael Dennis Nickle of San Rafael; sister, Catherine Lorain Morgan of Washington; grandchildren, Rachel Ann Grant, Stephanie Marie Ward, Patricia Ashley Dalman, Jacob William Dalman, Dylan Kenneth Weiss, Kyle Gregory Weiss, Bailey Jeanne Weiss, Noah Alejandro Nelson, Evelyn Elena Nelson; great-grandchildren, Madison Grant, Macala Grant, Keenan Ward; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Lawrence Nelson and daughter, Laura Ann Dalman. A private family service was held. Inurnment was in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Pine Grove, CA.
