Obituary of Hazel Thayer

Hazel Thayer passed away Monday, December 6, 2010 at Sutter Amador Hospital in Jackson at the age of 74 years. She was born January 20, 1936 to Jesse and Mary (Stewart) Hamrick in Jackson. Hazel put her children first before anything else. She had little money but had a lot of love and a big heart. She will be truly missed by her family. She is survived by her daughter, Pearl Fischer of Plymouth; sons, Richard R. Thayer II, William H. Thayer, Norm M. Thayer all of Pine Grove; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard R. Thayer, Sr. on August 14, 2002. Friends are invited to attend a funeral service Friday, December 10 at 10:00 A.M. at Daneri Mortuary Chapel in Jackson. Interment will be in the Plymouth City Cemetery in Plymouth.
