Obituary of Rula Campbell

Rula Fawn Nelson Campbell was born on October 7, 1920 in Price, UT and her body was laid to rest the morning of November 27, 2010 in her home in American Fork, UT. Rula married Ivan (Bud) Henry Campbell, who passed away on December 2, 2001. Rula is survived by her beautiful twin, Bula Fern Nelson Byrd and sister, Billie Campbell Timothy. She is also survived by her four children, Ned Nelson Campbell Sr., Marilyn Campbell Hansen, Lloyd Nelson Campbell and Jilleen Campbell Bernhardt. Rula and Bud have 21 grandchildren, 67 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Rula was loved by so many friends and family. She lived in Ione, CA for more than 65 years before she moved to Utah. There will be a funeral service held by Daneri Mortuary in Ione at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 408 West Marlette Street on Saturday, December 4, 2010. The service will begin at 10a.m., immediately following will be the graveside ceremony at the Fiddletown Cemetery. Rula's request is to have donations go to the Perpetual Education Fund through the LDS church to help educate young men and women. Please send your donations to Bishop Dave Jenkins at 1110 W. Marlette St., Ione, CA 95640. Rula was a woman with so much love and faith in Jesus Christ and in her Father in Heaven. She was an example to all those around her and will be missed very much.
