Obituary of Joyce Grover

Joyce Grover passed away on Friday, November 26, 2010 in Modesto at the age of 78 years. She was born to Eric and Lillian (Nelson) Fredrickson on March 14, 1932 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Joyce married William Grover on September 24, 1950 in Ione. She and Bill made Ione their home for 55 years before moving to Modesto in 2005 to be closer to their daughter. Joyce is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bill Grover of Modesto; daughter, Starlene Bear of Modesto; sons, Timothy Grover of Canada, Mark Grover of Fair Oaks; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Friends are invited to attend a funeral service Thursday, December 2, 2010, 10:00 A.M. at Calvary Chapel, 4300 American Avenue, Modesto, CA 95356. A graveside service to follow at 3:30 P.M. in the Garden of Golden Memories, Sunset View Cemetery, 10200 Highway 88, Jackson, CA 95642.
