Obituary of Pat Hawkins

Born August 29 in Anadarko, Oklahoma to Curtis and Mary Bramlett, Pat passed away peacefully on Friday October 15 after a brief illness. She is survived by her children Linda, Victor and Gary. Daughter-in-laws Lynda and Denise, and a granddaughter Caitlin. She is preceded in death by her parents and grandsons Jeremy Brown and Michael Schoening. Pat graduated from Mt. Diablo High School and continued her education at Diablo Valley College and Delta Jr. College. Pat met and married her grammar school sweetheart Larry Hawkins. She worked as a telephone operator for Pacific Bell for many years; she had various jobs throughout her lifetime ending her career at Mule creek State Prison as a Supervising Cook. Pat moved to Amador County in 1969 always making her home in Sutter Creek. She was loved by all that met her and was especially generous with her time being involved in Soroptimist International and the Quilter Guild. She was always devoted to our troops and always donated to their needs. Having the love of travel she had virtually traveled the world. She will be missed by all that knew her family as well as many dear friends. Friends are invited to attend a celebration of life on Saturday October 23, 2010, 1:00 P.M. at the Sutter Terrace Club House, Sutter Creek, CA.
