Obituary of Lois C. Becker

Lois Becker passed away Monday, October 11, 2010 at her home in Sutter Creek, at the age of 86 years. She was born June 19, 1924 to Ellsworth and Bertha (Lasswell) Taylor in Jackson, CA. Lois enjoyed her bridge club which she was a member for over 40 years and made Amador County her home for 76 years. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Jake Becker of Sutter Creek; children, Ronald Becker and wife, Robin of Washington, Carol Vinalon and husband, Anoy of Sutter Creek, Kathy Simmons and husband, Chuck of Jackson, Caroleen Becker-Golde and husband, Mike of Davis; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and her twin sister, Louise Campbell of Montana. Friends are invited to attend a funeral service Friday, October 15 at 10:00 A.M. at Sutter Creek United Methodist Church in Sutter Creek. Interment will be in the Jackson City Cemetery in Jackson.
