Obituary of Gustaf Woelfle

Gustaf Woelfle passed away Saturday, September 11, 2010 at his home in Jackson at the age of 81 years. He was born January 21, 1929 in Oefingen, Germany. Gustaf decided to move to the U.S. in the 1950's He worked at the San Francisco Chronicle in the 1960's and retired in the 1990's. On a trip to Germany he met Lore Herbert. Lore moved to the U.S. and they were married in September 1967 in San Francisco. Lore passed away in 1970. He moved to the foothills in 2005 to get away from the busy city life. He is survived by his daughter, Constanze Woelfle and her husband, Adriaan Topma of the Netherlands and granddaughter, Arielle Lieselore Topma. Memorial services have taken place.
