Obituary of Waunita Hudson

Waunita Hudson passed away Thursday, July 8, 2010 at her home in Folsom at the age of 82 years. She was born June 26, 1928 to Clarence and Mildred (Pool) Le Count in Norcatur, Kansas. Waunita married Luther Hudson on July 7, 1946 in Newark, CA. They raised their family in the Alameda and Fremont areas for 27 years. The couple moved to Pioneer in Amador County in 1980 and made their home there until 2004 when they moved to Folsom. She is survived by her son, Allan Hudson; daughter and son-in-law, Rochelle and Dave Cooper; grandchildren, Michelle, Beth, and Becky Hudson, Katie and Kristina Cooper; great-grandchildren, Jr. Gonzales and Walid Hanze. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Hudson on December 17, 2006. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service Friday, July 16 at 11:00 A.M. at Centerville Presbyterian Church, 4360 Central Ave., Fremont, CA. Inurnment will be in the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, CA.
