Obituary of James "Jimmy" Paul Waymire

James (Jimmy) Paul Waymire passed away on June 17, 2010 at his home in Jackson at the age of 53. He was born April 23, 1957 to Hartzel and Virginia Waymire in Sacramento, CA. He attended school in Sacramento before moving to Jackson with his parents in the mid-eighties. Jimmy, in his last days, was surrounded by family and love and laughter-lots of laughter as family remembered his sense of humor and quirky ways. He loved nicknames for his family-Virginia was "Shorty" and Hartzel was the "Old Man". He enjoyed traveling with his parents, bicycling, family gatherings, and was an avid collector of t-shirts. Jimmy also attended Am-Cal in Ione but saved the best for last when he met Richard Skidmore of Community Compass and started attending his program. Jimmy is survived by his mother and three siblings, Jack Waymire and his wife Debbie of Lincoln, CA, Susan Dominick and her husband Bob of Jackson, CA and Nancy Price of Pioneer, CA, and his nieces and nephews Jason and Joe Richie, Craig and Monica Evans, and Justin and Lauren Waymire.
