Obituary of Dominga Hahn

Dominga “Vicky” Hahn, age 89, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, April 30, surrounded by her loving family. 

 Vicky was born May 21, 1933, in Manila, Philippines to her parents Isaias Manjares and Purificacion Gonzaga. She had five brothers and four sisters. Vicky came to the United States in 1971 where she married Robert Lee Hahn Jr. on July 3, 1971. 

 Vicky became a U.S. citizen March 16, 1982, in San Francisco, CA. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Vicky enjoyed gardening, hula, water aerobics, spending time with her family, and cooking. She shared her love of food with her children and grandchildren, often cooking family favorites such as adobo, lumpia, pancit and siopao. Vicky was always caring for the ones she loved and never missed an opportunity to share her spicy sense of humor. 

 Vicky Hahn was preceded in death by her mother, father, five brothers, three sisters, and two children. In the Philippines, Vicky is survived by her sister, children; Ricardo, Cecilio, Amy, Lota, Dante, and Mario; and their families. 

 She is also survived by her husband Robert Lee Hahn Jr. and their two children; Chloe Ann Hamm of Manteca, CA and her husband Tim Hamm along with their children Miranda McGuiness and Trevor Lee Hamm; Robert Lee Hahn III of Sutter Creek, CA and his wife Christi Hahn along with their children Stephanie Mulford, Brittny Ritzman, Courtny Hahn, and Robert Lee Hahn IV. Vicky had two great grandchildren that she loved dearly; Waylon Robert Hahn and Lennon Bea McGuiness. 

Vicky lived with her son Robert and daughter-in-law Christi in Sutter Creek, CA where she enjoyed the beautiful views, spending time with family and an occasional beer by the pool. She spent her days in the care of her loving friends and caretakers; Delia, Ria, Divine, Baby, Diana, and Gigi.  

Vicky’s children and grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life. The legacy of Vicky’s kind spirit, love of cooking, and spice for life will live on through them. She will be greatly missed by all.
