Obituary of Judith Anne Gamez

Judith Anne Gamez (“Judy”) passed away May 19, 2023, at her Home in Pine Grove at the age of 83. She was born on February 29, 1940, in Alameda, California to Walter and Agnes Monroe.

Judy is survived by her sister, Ann Woodruff; son, Vincent Gamez (Debbie); daughter, Regina McCarty (William); and son, Brian Gamez (Renatta). “Nanny” is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and one on the way. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Gamez, parents Walter and Agnes Monroe, and sister; Marylou Smith. 

A Funeral Mass will be held at St Patrick Church in Placerville, CA on June 27, 2023, at 11:30 a.m.  followed by a graveside service at the St Patrick Catholic Cemetery.
