Obituary of Charlie Lefebrve

Charlie" Lefebvre was born as Pamela Charlene Byrd on May 7, 1952, in Merced Ca. to her parents Betty and Charles Byrd.

 

She subsequently moved to San Jose where she attended school and lived with her family until 1971. In 1971 She met and married David Lefebvre and lived in Maine until 1975, when she returned to Ca. She eventual1y settled in Jackson Ca. where she has lived since.

 

 She leaves behind her husband of 52 years David and 2 daughters, Erin, age 46 and her husband Andy Lockwood and Tracy, age 43 and her husband Kyle Roulet and seven Grandchildren, Tristan, Brody, Gage, Knox, Cash, Selene, and Scout. Also, three brothers; Darrel Byrd and his wife Patty, Jer Bohland and his wife Laura and, Marc Legallo and his wife Sara.

 

 Charlie worked in Dentistry for approximately 35 years. She was always active in the community, particularly with her children’s activities.  She attended every sporting event, recital, and school activity. She loved the County Fair and supported 4H activities. She also coached youth sports including soccer and most of all cheerleading. Charlie was herself a high school cheerleader and remained a consummate cheerleader throughout her life. She was also a member of several groups including ` Smiles ‘of Sutter Creek and the same Bunco group for over 25 years. She loved sewing crafts and at one point developed her own line of women’s clothing which she sold online and at craft fairs. She also loved gardening and found great joy in watching things grow and sharing them with others. She had many friends and will be remembered by all for her infectious smile and positive attitude.

 

With great bravery and determination, Charlie battled Parkinson’s Disease for 13 years. She passed away in peace at her home on May 30, 2023, of complications from her disease. Charlie will be remembered at a celebration of her life to be held on June 23rd at Teresa’s Place from 11am-3pm. All are welcome to attend. (Bright colored clothing is encouraged by the family)
