Obituary of Mark Richard Stowers

 

Mark Richard Stowers, lifelong Amador resident, passed away on June 10, 2023. He was 68 years old. Mark, the son of Robert "Lester" and Mildred Stowers, was born August 29, 1954. A graduate of Amador County High School (Class of 1972), Mark married his wife Dannette in 1984. They were together for 45 years. Mark was a career lumberman, starting at American Forest Products Company in Martell, and retiring From Sierra Pacific Industries Standard facility in Sonora in 2020. Mark was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded by his parents and brothers, Neal and Lawrence. He leaves behind his wife, his sister, Lori (Dan) Eliskovich, his children, Sean (Junyong) Stowers and Stephanie (Marcus) Dunham, and 2 granddaughters, Rhiannon Dunham and Madeline Stowers.
