Obituary of Lyle Eugene Eidsmoe

Lyle Eidsmoe, 100, of Jackson, CA passed away August 15, 2023, in Jackson, CA. He was born on March 30, 1923, in Neillsville, MN. He moved to San Diego, CA in 1940 to go to work for the Navy. He was a WWII Navy Veteran. He spent 30 years working as a civilian at North Island Naval Air Station and 25 years in the Naval Reserves, retiring as a Lieutenant Commander. He and Jeanne eventually retired to Jackson, CA.

 

Lyle is survived by his son, Michael Eidsmoe of Seaside, CA and his stepdaughter, Michelle Hicks of Yuma, AZ. Interment will take place at a later date at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, CA. where he will be laid to rest with his late wife, Jeanne Eidsmoe, who passed away in 2016.
