Obituary of Robert Lee Cornely

Robert Lee Cornely, 83 of Pioneer, CA, passed away Wednesday February 14, 2024. He was born in Johnstown, PA on January 25, 1941, to Stella Matthews and Robert Meehan. Robert graduated from San Mateo High school in San Mateo, CA and attended Canada College in Redwood City, CA.

Bob and his wife Georgia (deceased) lived in Redwood City for over 45 years until 2010 when they moved full time to their home in Pioneer. He was a talented wood worker and really enjoyed fishing. He was an avid hometown sports fan and loyal to the SF 49ers and the Giants. He also loved traveling and especially to their timeshare in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico where family and friends had many memorable vacations. Most of all he enjoyed laughing and joking around with family and friends.

Bob is survived by his three daughters, Karon Knuist of Jackson, CA, Stacey (Alex) Rubin of San Francisco, CA, Kristi Greene of Kathleen, GA, and four grandchildren, Samantha Knuist, Derek Knuist, Jamie Rubin and Nick Rubin and a great grandson Wyatt Awbrey.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
