Obituary of Sherry Rachel Oliphant

Sherry Rachel Oliphant passed away February 28, 2024, in Fiddletown, CA at the age of 75 years old. She was born on October 21, 1948, in South Dakota to William and Corinne (Berg) Bulygo.

 

Sherry loved life and enjoyed the adventure of discovery. The discovery of new sights, sounds, places, and new friends she met along the way. The adventure of different foods in the parts of Mexico, Europe, and North America we were fortunate to travel. The adventure of travel and driving our motorhome on those highways but mostly byways. Sherry lived her life “doing it her way” pretty much without you knowing it was “her way”. Sherry traveled the long solo journey of Huntington’s Disease with beauty and grace.

 

Sherry is survived by her husband, Larry Oliphant of Fiddletown, CA; mother, Corinne Berg; son, Sean Tynan of Talent, OR; daughters, Kristy Jordan of Placerville, Tammy Dillashaw of Angels Camp, CA, Sherryl Jackson of Bozeman, MT. She was preceded in death by father, William Bulygo.

 

A private interment will take place at Sunset View Cemetery, Jackson, CA.
