John Bianchi

Obituary of John Marc Bianchi

John Marc Bianchi passed away March 21, 2024, in Roseville, CA at the age of 76. He was born on December 7, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois to John and Lorraine (Lucchesi) Bianchi. He passed quietly with his wife and stepdaughter by his side.

John is survived by wife, Carol Kinsey; granddaughter, Haley O'Leary; stepdaughter, Colleen McCarthy; and cousin, Karen Jakubco. He was preceded by his daughter, Tracy Bianchi; and cousin, Debbie Lapasso.

John was born, raised, and spent most of his life in Chicago where he was employed as an electronic safety engineer. He and his wife, Carol, moved to Jackson in 2001 and have lived in the same house for the last 23 years.

While living in Chicago, John was an avid DX Ham Radio Operator with over three hundred verified countries contacted by morse code. He also loved riding his Honda Goldwing. He and Carol rode every weekend when it wasn’t raining or snowing. They also took their honeymoon on the bike. The motorcycle hobby continued after moving to California. Unfortunately, his ham radio days were behind him. Instead, John took up photography. He loved taking scenic pictures, flowers, and bugs.

John was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War spending three years on board ship in the war zone. He loved his country to the day he died and believed it was his duty to protect and defend the constitution of the United States because of the oath he took when he enlisted. He was an honorable man.
